Weather: Quite misty and clouds, wind on the higher ground.
From the car park at Ben Lawers National Trust Site we followed a very distinctive path over numerous false summits to the top.
From the summit we headed on to Ben Lawers still following the distinctive path (although we lost this slightly for 200m and ended up scrambling down the wrong side of a little crag). After reaching the summit of Ben Lawers we headed on to An Stuc
Continuing on to An Stuc the weather started clearing up a little. From this summit (which had recently just ‘become’ a Munro) we descended its *very* steep crag and began the long laborious climb to the summit of Meall Greigh.
Continuing on from Meall Greigh it was quite a long trek to criss-crossed a newly installed fence, all the way to the summit.
From this final summit we descended back down to Lawers and to our car which we had left at the Lawers Hotel car park – the landlord was pretty annoyed when we didn’t go in for a drink after leaving our car there all day which we would have, had he not come out shouting all confrontationally.
An excellent outing.
