Weather: Cold but clear day, windy and clouds on the tops.
From the car park by the side of Loch Iubhair, we walked along the road to Ben More Farm. From there we followed the track leading from the farm, zig zagging up the hillside to around 350m (when it heads up and out of the glen).
We then struck out North West over open land, steep in places to some open easier slopes. At this point there was snow and ice on the ground and verging on the need for crampons.
From there, there are easier slopes on to the summit area. We were in cloud from about 700m, and the ground was very snowy / icy and it was getting very cold and windy – so we decided against carrying on to Stob Binnein.
We came off in a Southerly direction to the bealach and then back down the glen to the track and off.
